Despite the holiday season, it's been a busy month dominated by the world's largest Airshow – the biennial Farnborough International Airshow.

Given the recent expansion of The Nacelle Group we decided to exhibit for the first time at this event which meant a lot of additional preparation, increased staff attendance, but also a much higher profile.

Last week saw the launch of the Belfast Met's Space Camp which is taking place over two weeks from July 25th to August 5th. The Space Camp will be primarily located at Belfast Met's new Titanic Quarter campus, as well as other special destinations such as our Resonate Testing facilities.

Participants will be able to undertake a mock-up of our 'Shake, Rattle and Roll' competition at our facilities (3rd & 4th of August), which we are launching for schools and colleges in the next few months.

Every month is busy, but June has set a new bar. With the vibration lab operational and processing client business, the development focus has moved to Material Flammability and Full Propulsion fire testing, with commissioning work taking place on both product areas.

Our final day at Farnborough Airshow 2016, and we bumped into the best visitor yet.....

Today we were delighted to welcome Mr. Gavin Robinson MP, one of our local MPs, to our stand at Farnborough and update him on current developments in the Aerospace Sector.

The Nacelle Group were delighted to be supported by Simon Hamilton, Economy Minister during discussions on R&D capabilities with our client, United Engine Corporation of Russia.

Today marks the first day of The Nacelle Group exhibiting at the 'world's greatest airshow' - Farnborough International Airshow 2016.
